Review of A Minute of Vision for Men

What a great devotional book for men! A Minute of Vision for Men takes no time to read an inspirational thought that connects life with Scripture. Something meant to stick with them during the day. A perfect way to center your mind and day on God!

I received a book from Tyndale House in exchange for an unbiased review.

Review of 365 Pocket Morning Prayers

365 Pocket Morning Prayers: Strength and Joy to Begin Each Day

This is a beautiful little book that would also make a great gift for someone.

I like that the daily prayers and scripture readings aren't dated, so that you can start at any time of year and also that ten years from now you won't see a 2016 Devotional book on your shelf and ignore it because you think it's probably outdated.

You can either go through this book day by day or  choose topics (listed in the book)

Great resource!

*I was given a copy of this book for my unbiased review.

Book Review of Powerful Moments in the Presence of God

1 John 3:16 By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us.

"You are loved with an everlasting love. I speak this word because I want it to sink in and penetrate to the depths of your soul. I want you to understand with your heart and not just your head.

My love is a gift freely given with joy. My love does not depend on your goodness or your worthiness. My love is.

I gave up My earthly life so that you would know My eternal love."

The above is taken from a devotional book I just finished reading. Written by Lorraine Marie Varela "Powerful Moments in the Presence of God" is unique in that each verse is "explained" by God Himself!

This, along with the beautiful photographs taken by the author herself, makes for a peaceful and refreshing read.
