"Touched by Heaven"
was a hard book to put down! Nancy
was beaten by her father starting at
age five. All she could do was pray on her knees by her bed afterwards. And
Jesus began visiting her. Even as an adult, married and away from her father,
He continued to show up.
At first I kept thinking why would He come to this one person
so often and no one else? Then I read something her husband, David Ravenhill,
wrote in the Epilogue. Jesus once said in the Bible that He could do no mighty
works in His hometown because of their unbelief. And it was unbelief that kept Israel
wandering around the wilderness for forty years. Unbelief is one of the
greatest obstacles - if not THE greatest - to the manifestation of the
was a small child when He first came to her. She had faith and all her life
looked for Jesus and angels to show up.
So they did!
I was given a copy of this book by Chosen
to review and I highly recommend it!
