From Beth Moore’s book “Breaking Free”

“For just a moment, I don’t want you to think about how far you have to go. Just rest a few moments. No telling on yourself. No looking in. Just look up. Think about how far you’ve come.”

“Sometimes we get tired of fighting the good fight. The thought of fighting our way through life is exhausting. Isaiah 40:31 tells us to wrap ourselves so tightly around God that we automatically go where He’s going. Like a child wrapped around the parent’s leg – the parent does the work! When we’re exhausted we’re expending more energy fighting the enemy than we are seeking God’s presence. More than you seek to win – seek Christ! Seek the kingdom first. Hang on to God for dear life!”
