Everyday – first thing – pray, “God, whether I get anything else done today, I want to make sure I love You and other people.”

Heroic spiritual lives are built by stacking days of obedience one on top of the other. Each small act is like a brick that will build a strong wall of strong character.

Do not grow weary of doing good – God will reward you in the end.

If a task is once begun, never leave it till it’s done. Be the labor great or small, do it well or not at all. “Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might.” Ecclesiastes 9:10
