Barcelona - Our Point of Embarkation

Our Mediterranean cruise next September 6th will leave from one of Europe’s favorite cities: Barcelona.

Located on the northeastern Mediterranean coast, Barcelona is the capital and largest city of Catalonia and is Spain’s second largest city.

For those cruisers who would like to spend a few days in this vibrant and fun city, John and I will be flying over on September 3rd. You’re invited to join us!

Beautiful Barcelona has been described as a banquet for the senses, with its beguiling mix of ancient and modern architecture, tempting cafés and markets, and sun-drenched Mediterranean beaches. A stroll along La Rambla and through waterfront Barceloneta, as well as a tour of Gaudí's majestic Sagrada Família and his other unique creations, are not to be missed. Modern art museums and chic shops call for attention, too. Barcelona's vibe stays lively well into the night, when you can linger over regional wine and cuisine at buzzing tapas bars.

Foodies will love the enormous food markets. Romantics will be drawn to the hidden courtyards and fountains that light up at night. All ages will smile at the quirky architecture, street lights and benches by Gaudi. Shoppers and fashionistas will love the Passeig de Gracia. (With its wide sidewalks lined with trees this is the ´shopping mile´ of Barcelona - filled with international chains and brands from around the world.) Artists can visit Picasso’s museum and if you have a sweet tooth we’re going to visit the Chocolate Museum.

Sophisticated and trendy, unique and quirky, a city like no other in the world.

When you sign up for our cruise let me know if you want to fly over early with us and I’ll take care of the rest.

If you’d like me to resend the flyer with cruise prices and itinerary just email me!

This is going to be a fabulous trip!!
