Review of the Book, "50 Things You Need To Know About Heaven"

I just finished reading Dr. John Hart's book "50 Things You Need To Know About Heaven"

I've read a lot of books about Heaven, so many of these questions and answers I'm familiar with. The difference (and why I would recommend getting this book) is it makes a good reference book to keep in your library. The 50 questions cover most of the questions people often ask about Heaven, so you can pull out this book and skim through the table of contents and answer them a lot faster then trying to remember where you read about it in some other book. (Or even finding the answer in the Bible - the author gives you Bible references for each question also.)

I was given a copy of this book by the publisher to review.

Review of the book "Face to Face with Jesus"

In a country where the worst thing that happens to a Christian is someone raising his or her eyebrow and making fun of them, reading what the author went through for her faith was indeed humbling.

I was struck by her maturity, even at the age of her conversion: 14. She was brave in constantly sharing the Gospel with everyone she came into contact with, even went it could easily have ended in her death. And often ended in beatings.

The miracles, healings, speaking in tongues she recounts reminds me of the early church in Acts. These kinds of things have to happen when the Gospel needs to go far and fast. The author seems to think we are close to Christ's return. And I do to. She feels the burden to spread the Gospel to the ends of the earth.

Her faith, her bravery, her forgiveness of those who persecuted her, her love for her fellow men, her hunger for the Word; (she had read through the Bible 30 times by the time she was 19 and memorized great portions of it) should inspire us!

You won't be able to put the book down when she's describing the church bombing she lived through, you will grit your teeth at the way she is treated by the Muslim doctors and nurses, you will be in awe of her description of meeting Jesus in Heaven when she "died".

"Face to Face with Jesus" is an eye opener to the Muslim community, a kick in the pants to start doing our duty as Christians and a great read. I totally recommend it.
